DZTC-KMMH - Education, BS - Grades 4-8, Math

A Middle Grades (4th-8th) Math Education degree from UNT Dallas is the first step in becoming a certified math teacher in fourth through eighth grades. Middle Grades Education majors can choose from four pathways: ELAR, math, science, and social studies. Students in the Math Education with ESL pathway will be prepared to teach mathematics in upper elementary and middle school. Many school districts in Texas require teachers to have an ESL supplemental certification.
