The Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) Degree is multidisciplinary, highly flexible, and can help students complete their degree at UNTD in record time. Not only does this degree allow students to design their own program, but they can also bring coursework from community colleges, other universities, and the military for the degree plan. Working with a team of talented and caring advisors, students can craft a degree that focuses on unique career goals and educational experiences.

Special Notes for Students Interested in Pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree at UNT Dallas
Students pursuing this degree should have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or vocational/workforce coursework toward an AAS degree at the community college.
Completion of the Texas Common Core requirements is required to earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science at UNT Dallas.
All BAAS students must complete SOCI 3220: Quantitative Data Collection, COMM 3352: Intercultural Communication, and SOCI 4540: Race & Ethnic Minorities to build important workplace competencies.
Meet with an academic advisor to develop an individualized plan for completion of the University Core, major requirements, selection and declaration of 3 concentrations, and courses to fulfill concentration requirements.
Any elective can constitute an any level UNTD course or transferred workforce credit. Any "Advanced elective" must be coursework at the 3000- or 4000-level.
