Must receive a grade of C or better in each course. These courses are required for all University Studies majors and comprise the program assessment component required for accreditation. No substitutions.
Students can utilize credit from previous courses to complete this requirements. Up to 18 hours can be incorporated here or in a concentration as appropriate.
Students can utilize credit from previous courses to complete this requirement. Six hours can be incorporated here or in a concentration as appropriate.
Option 1: Completion of three concentrations of 15 credit hours each.

Option 2: Completion of one primary concentration and one secondary concentration totaling 45 hours. Both concentrations must consist of at least 18 hours.

UNT Dallas offers a number of professional development concentrations. Each concentration can include a broad range of disciplines to encompass various student needs or interests.
Option 1
Concentration areas consisting of 15 hours can be selected from the following disciplines:

Social Sciences, Human Services, & Education
Science, Technology, Math, & General Business
Option 2
Concentration areas consisting of more than 12 hours can be selected from the following disciplines:

Additional UNTD Degree Requirements
• All students must meet the General University Requirements as well as the major requirements.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• University Studies major GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Total hours to complete degree: 120 semester credit hours
